Candidate must have a valid MN driver's license & car; Bachelors degree in psychology or social work (with LSW) and 1 year full-time experience w/adults with mental illness -or- 1 year full-time work in an Adult Foster Care program.
Hours available are:
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 4p-12a
Sunday-Wednesday 4pm-12am
Wednesday-Saturday 4pm-12:30am

Primary duties include ensuring security of the facility, supervision of the residents, assisting clients in managing symptoms, planning activities, and preparing meals. Qualifications are Bachelors degree in Psychology, social work (with a LSW) or related field plus some full-time work experience with adults with MI & CD. Candidate must have a valid driver's license and a car. Hours are: Saturday and Sunday day and evening hours. $13/hour.

Mental Health Counselor - Float (AFC - Float) - The Adult Foster Care Program has a Permanent Part-time Mental Health Counselor position as a Float. This person will be available on a permanent weekly scheduled day, from 4pm-8am. They will have 1 or more assigned days each week, where they will be available to pick up any evening (4pm-12:30am) or awake overnight (12am-8:30am) shift as directed by the on-call Lead MHC. Pay rate: $2/hour on their scheduled day and $14/hour if called in to work a shift. Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent + good knowledge of Mental Illness, and experience in a group home environment.

Responsibilities for this positions includes: supervising clients, leading groups and Rec activities, pass medications and crisis intervention. Mental Health Practitioner Float (021) - South Metro Human Services has a full-time position (40 hours per week) as a Mental Health Practitioner Float. This person will be called to work at any of our Case Management departments based on agency need (ARMHS, TCM, UCARE, and multiple ACT Teams). Requirements for this position: Candidate must be qualified as a Mental Health Practitioner. They must have a minimum of a Bachelors degree in Psychology or Social Work (w/LSW) plus 2,000 hours of work experience with adults with SPMI/CD. Candidate must also be proficient in Motivational Interviewing, Harm-Reduction and DBT treatment modalities. The ideal candidate will need to be flexible to pick up shifts at any location within the defined hours. Hours that this person must be available: Monday-Friday 8:00 am - 9:00 pm. This person will be guaranteed an 8 hour shift during this timeframe.
